"After The Death"
After the death
What’s the next?
Often, a man thinks
In the coat of a mink
Eat like the king
Drink like a fish
Takes forty winks
In homely heeds
with debts and hopes
enjoyed the life
One day dies.
In the throes
Wife will cry
without an end.
Son and daughter
Carries pride and woes.
Near the coffin
Friends and foe
Says tales and smiles.
Funeral gets over.
Tribute on time
RIP the soul
If belief in
Life of heaven
Prayers go on.
Crowds there
Praise his deeds.
Darkness ticks
Dispersal proceed
Wallpapers shared
In social media
The huge photo hangs.
On a wall of the house
Remembrance there
It’s a fortune.
Every life forms
Embedded in earth
slowly decomposed.
Nutrients recycled
Seasons change
Years pass...
"Deaths and deaths
Made for an emptiness.
By births and births
nature rejuvenates
balance the fullness"
Past the graveland
Modern meadow blooms.
Lifecycle repeats.
