The Day of the Street
The Day of the Street
Poverty the wolf
Howls in front of the doors
Illiteracy the darkness
Seen in the houses
Prostitution works in the street
Many eyes tied with tears
Lipstick shines in rosy color
Seducing evil clients.
“Calls come to the grief
Calls come to the grief”
Desires to flesh in a bed
With the sex, an illness
By “HIV” the virus
Sporadically crow over’s
To each cell and tissue fluid
Now in minds...
Failed to do away “the wolf”
Failed to do away “the darkness”
Red ribbons are flying
Red balloons are flying
The unknowing targets
Many kids are playing
It’s the RED STREET.
